Kat is a mom who used to work as an aircraft mechanic, a safety person, and other various jobs leading to a good base of customer service skills, mechanical skills, and research abilities. Now, Kat owns a yarn shop and does lots of spinning, knitting, and is expanding into teaching.
While focused mostly on spinning, Kat also enjoys knitting, crochet, gardening, reading, and spending time with her family. She loves to visit with people and learn new things so she tends to be busy doing lots of different things and has a variety of research projects going.

I have an image of Amelia with Kate that looks strong. I am hoping to make it into a photo-painting type thingy, that is if I ever recover from our trip and subsequent steroid treatments. I am doing great it just takes me awhile. I had such a great time in Seattle. Wonderful people.
