I’m trying something new all the way around. I have updated the web store to hopefully be easier to navigate. In addition to that I’ve added a class section to the product list. What does this mean? It means you can pay for class online. What does it not mean? I still haven’t figured out a good way to actually register for classes other than an email to me at firstname.lastname@example.org or in person. Yes, there are software products out there to manage schedules and all. I am trying to minimize the number of sites and passwords etc. that I need to maintain and I’m trying to make it simple for my customers. I dislike difficult pages as a customer. I do not waste my time. So, feel free to check out the web store re-vamp. I would love any feedback possible. <link below>
Besides updating the web store, I am knitting on store samples for upcoming classes. There are other blog posts coming with lots of updates from shearing to spinning wheel repair to tips and tricks for you. I’m looking to have a bunch of updates for you come August. I never have figured out how to juggle kids at home for the summer and writing and working on my business. Not smoothly anyway. We bumble along and make things work, but nothing gets fully accomplished when it comes to anything but the kids. Not in the summer.
I do treasure the summers. It is pretty incredible to get to spend the short break from school actually with my kids. It is certainly a balancing act but it is pretty darn wonderful. Anyway, back to the regular programming. I hope your summer is going well. I’m off to work on another project.
