Morning! It has been a beautiful week here. I see many folks across the country not having such lovely weather. Oh, we have our wind, but that seems to just be the season come winter and spring. We have had temps in the mid-50s and even creeping into the low 60s once in a while. So no reason to complain here. I am a little nervous about the upcoming growing season should we not get some more moisture but I am in the wait and see mode.
So on to fiber-y goodness here and the catch-up. I am trying to get lots of spinning done along with getting a syllabus written for a class I am hoping to open up in February. I can’t seem to get caught up from Christmas on the spinning. The store that carries my yarn did booming (for me anyway) business in December and I’ve had to use my farmer’s market stock to re-stock the store. This is a good problem to have for me but not so good for my wonderful customers. I don’t like when I have a wide variety of yarns for you. I have a couple of lovely new yarns to set today and some more lace-weight on my wheel. I also have plans of doing some more lock-spun mohair yarns. They are really pretty when I mix them with my Keebler fleece.
So off I go to get some spinning done. I’m hoping by this evening I can have the other part of my lace weight spun and then plied so I can set that one today too.
