Wooly Balls

What the heck are those?! They are a wonderful use of scrap yarn or roving that gets felted together and gets used in your dryer instead of dryer sheets. Do you have sensitive skin? Do you want to avoid chemicals? Do you get sick of purchasing dryer sheets? How about the fact that some folks just hate dryer sheets? No more dryer sheets are needed with Wooly Balls. They get rid of the static, they soften the clothes, and they are supposed to shorten the drying time. I personally cannot attest to that part since I am one that sets my dryer and walks away. I have kids, dogs, and other critters along with my house and garden that need taken care of so I don’t time my laundry. The best part is that they are simple to use and you only buy them once. I have heard of them lasting at least 4 years. They should last longer though.

Use at least 3 and more is better up to about 10. The larger the dryer and/or load of laundry the more Wooly Balls you need. On average I would use 5 of the Wooly Balls. Just toss them in with the clothes and run the dryer. I would even store them in the dryer that way you don’t have to find a spot for them or go hunting for them when it is time to dry the laundry. My luck would be that the kids would play ball with them and lose them if I don’t hide them.

Kiss the dryer sheets goodbye! Let me know how many you would like. They are $5 each or 5 for $20. I am trying to stay ahead of the demand but if I don’t have them made up it will take a couple of extra days to get them to you as I will need to make them.

About littlehawkyarns

I'm a gardener that is trying to provide good food for my family to enjoy. I have two children, two dogs, a husband, four chickens, and four cats. In addition gardening I enjoy handwork such as knitting, crochet, and sewing. I'm in the process of trying to learn tatting and embroidery as well. I am soon adding more critters to the collection since we just got property and I spin yarn.
