This is what I’ve been up to. It has been rainy and cold the last several days along with wind. So I’ve been happy to curl up inside and card some wool. When it gets nice again I’ll wash the rest of this fleece. I won’t until then because I want it to dry in the sun.
I’ve also gotten impatient and started spinning as I’m carding. I can tell I’ve mostly been spinning merino crosses or something similar. This guy is a lot more hair like. He’s getting almost a halo like Angora or mohair gets. It is so neat to watch this yarn develop. I’m hoping to work on using some natural dyes on some of this yarn as well. We shall see how ambitious I get right off the bat.
While I think of it… If anyone would like information about the yarns I’m working on or what I can do for you please don’t hesitate to get in touch with me. You can comment on a post, see the yarns I have done under the Products page, or get in touch with me in the Contact Me section. As soon as I figure out how to do it I’ll add a contact form to the blog as well. Right now I think my internet is acting up and not loading everything. It does that when the weather gets yucky.
