Isn’t this a pretty silver?

Silver wool Silver wool

I like how this color turned out. This particular wool is a little coarser that I would normally like. I’m a sucker for soft wool. I bet this yarn would be great in a weaving project or a knitting project for something like slippers that was going to get a lot of use. I didn’t find out what all is in this one other than wool so I don’t know breed on it or anything. I’ll let it sit for another day or so and then I’ll skein it and set it. I think I’ll actually leave it as a single for once. I usually like to ply my yarns. They tend to balance out when I do that.

Hope you all are getting to enjoy some wonderful spring weather too.

About littlehawkyarns

I'm a gardener that is trying to provide good food for my family to enjoy. I have two children, two dogs, a husband, four chickens, and four cats. In addition gardening I enjoy handwork such as knitting, crochet, and sewing. I'm in the process of trying to learn tatting and embroidery as well. I am soon adding more critters to the collection since we just got property and I spin yarn.

Very neat shade of silver. I am just learning to spin and weave through our local guild here in the Columbus area. Glad to see your post.

    • We’ve basically formed our own little guild here as well. A few of us get together and work on some sort of project once a month. Sure comes in handy to compare notes at times.
